Serving the 941 area for decades, the team at Leslie Wells Realty continues to pride themselves as not only the top selling brokerage “north of the river”, but also the brokerage that truly knows the Manatee county area the best. How so? By being involved Take a look at just a few of the fun, community centered events that the agents of Leslie Wells Realty either put on themselves or lent a helping hand to.
40 Years in the Game
Leslie Wells and the agents with Leslie Wells Realty spent months celebrating Leslie’s big 40; not her birthday, but 40 years as an active, licensed Florida Realtor!
Becoming a licensed agent in 1976 and earning her Broker’s license in 1979, Leslie became one of Manatee County’s top agents, consistently breaking her own sales records. In the 1980’s, Leslie became involved in management, training and agent retention with a Manatee County branch of national real estate corporation.
In the early 2000’s Leslie and a small group of investors developed almost 1000 acres in northern Manatee County and created a subdivision known as Foxbrook and the formation and opening of Leslie Wells Realty.
Leslie is now a part of a small unique group of Realtors that have earned the Emeritus Award for 40 continuous years as a member of the National Association of Realtors, Florida Association of Realtors and the SARASOTA Manatee Association of Realtors.
Pay it Forward:
Leslie and her family have always been active participants in charity organizations and have always believed in “giving back”. Armed with gift cards for each of her sales agents, Leslie encouraged the agents to find individuals or organizations that would benefit from a donation, and asked the agents to feel free to add to or match her donation. The result and response from the community was overwhelming!
YMCA: The YMCA is a huge part of our community and Leslie was excited to be involved with the Y in the purchase of the 5 acre parcel that will be their future home in Parrish.
As part of the Pay it Forward, a donation was made on behalf of Leslie Wells Realty n the amount of $2500.
The Desoto Historical Society is an organization that contributes to Manatee County in many ways and is involved in fund raiding and heritage celebrations throughout Manatee County. Leslie and her agents participate each year in the fun and festivities at the Seafood Festival and auction off items to raise money for the
North River Relay for a Life!
Parrish Chili Cookoff:
The Parrish Chili Cookoff is part of the heritage festivities. Leslie Wells Realty has participated in the Chili Cookoff since its inception 7 years ago. Money raised at the Cookoff goes to the Partish Foundation that has contributed $1000’s of dollars in scholarships to local students.
We try to stay active in the community not just because it helps us with visibility, but because we truly believe that if you aren’t familiar with the area, the people and the community in which you are serving, you aren’t serving at all.
